Wishbeer Thonglor

91 Sukhumvit Soi 57 Road, Khlong Tan Nuea, Wattana, Bangkok 10110 Thailand

OPen daily, 5:00 pm until midnight

This bar, newly opened in January 2018, is the fourth branch of Wishbeer – following on from the original at Sukhumvit Soi 67, the secondary location at The Street Ratchada, and the Wishbeer Beer Garden at Ari.

To reach this bar,  travel to Thonglor BTS Station, then exit using Exit 2.  Upon reaching street level, double back around 180 degrees to your right, and walk back 40 meters to Soi Thonglor – cross the street and turn left.  You now have a 100 meter walk – so about two minutes.    After just a short distance as you walk north on the sidewalk, you will come to a florist shop, and then Soul Food Mahanakorn, with a sign hanging down:

Soul Food Mahanakorn actually offers a small selection of imported expatriate Thai craft beer in bottles.  But – just past this restaurant, you come to a cross street intersecting from your right, with parking on both sides.  Turn right into this  space, and walk 30 meters – and you will see Wishbeer Thonglor on your right – single shop-house wide (just past an ATM machine – red arrow below points to Wishbeer bar):

As of February, there are now illuminated signs identifying the bar:

As of August 2018, the bar has 19 taps, with selections indicated on a chalkboard that is located just inside the entrance of the bar, on your right:

They have three different sizes of draft beers here.

There bar also has one double-wide beer cooler containing about 45 different bottled craft beers:

Happy Hour from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm – 25% price discount for all draft beers.

They serve a limited menu of typical bar fare:

At present, they are actually cooking in the parking lot out in front of the bar.

There are ten seats at the bar, four tables that seat four persons each, and two tables that seat two persons each.  For smokers, there is also one table out in front of the bar with two seats:

There are no video screens. Music was current pop music, played at comfortable background level.  There are two separate toilets at rear of the bar – brand new, and clean:

Parking is available in front of the bar.

One odd factor is that there is evidently a budget hostel upstairs of the bar, with access to the hostel being through the bar – and you thus have a series of visitors passing through the bar , to reach the stairway leading upstairs, which is located back near the toilets.

At the time of my visit, there was just on lone bartender on duty. I think that they are just hiring up now.

      Hello Harriett –

I am not aware of any unintentional duplication of any content at this website. Unless you can cite specific examples, I will simply discard your comment as contrived nonsense.

Every day, I get dozens of spam review comments – which I studiously remove.
