Overview
This bar is situated in a large converted two-story Thai residential home surrounded by a large grassy yard.
To get to it, from Sukhumvit Road, travel northbound on Soi Ekkamai (Sukhumvit Soi 63) for 1,200 meters to Soi 10. A large Health Land spa/massage venue sits on that corner. Turn right onto Soi 10 and travel 300 meters to the first side-soi on the right, which is Yaek 2. Turn right onto Yaek 2, into a residential neighborhood. Proceed 120 meters to a “T” intersection. Turn left at this intersection, and proceed straight ahead for 60 meters. Mikkellar bar will be on your right, behind a tall hedge of shrubbery.
Note: You can be just 30 meters from Mikkeller, without having any hint that the bar is there. From the road nearby, there are no visible signs or other indications of the bar existing.
The bar’s main room seats about 24 people at tables, another ten can sit at counters along the walls/windows. There is additional seating at picnic style tables and beanbag chairs outside in the yard.
Mikkeller Bar has 30 beers on tap – see current tap list at https://www.mikkellerbangkok.com/taplist.php
They occasionally have a basket of bottles for sale atop the bar, but normally, only draft beer is served in the bar. But- in a separate building immediately behind the bar – is their bottle shop, selling a wide variety of beer and other beverages.

This bar is run by Jacob Rasmussen, from Denmark.
There is no table service at Mikkeller. You basically go up to the bar, and place your order. You then wait for them to pour it, and bring it to you – still at the bar. You then return to your seat.
The bar is bright and clean – almost antiseptically. Large windows on three sides. Plenty of space between tables.
They do not typically serve free snacks. There is a full restaurant upstairs, but a more limited menu is served in the bar. See https://upstairs-restaurant.com/
They have a number of separate toilets, each with its own doorway, built into the right side of the bar as you enter. Clean and well-maintained.
Limited on-site parking but easy parking on nearby residential street.
No smoking in the bar – you must step outside of the bar to partake of tobacco.
